What stays on your device
Your library, your converted lessons, your recordings and your practice settings are stored in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage). Chordcraft does not upload them to its own servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
What is sent to process a conversion
When a Pro user converts a recording, the trimmed section is uploaded to Mirelo (mirelo.ai), our transcription provider, which stores it in the EU while it is converted. The notes come back to your browser. Chordcraft keeps a record that a conversion happened and how many minutes it used, linked to your Pro pass, not to your name.
Accounts and payments
Pro is linked to a pass saved in your browser. Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and holds your billing details. Chordcraft never sees your card.
If you join the Pro list, your email is stored to send you one message when checkout opens. Reply to any email and we delete your address.
